Job summary

Topaz Fiscal Services is seeking an experienced RN Charge Nurse to lead a dedicated nursing team in a resident care setting. You will supervise unit staffing, coordinate resources, ensure accurate charting and timely physician communication to uphold quality care.

The role requires a current State Registered Nurse license and at least 2 years of related experience. You will monitor care plans, support compliance with regulations, and contribute to ongoing staff development.

Qualifications

Current State Registered Nurse license with a minimum of 2 years related experience.
Experience supervising nursing staff and coordinating patient care.

Responsibilities

Supervise nursing unit including scheduling and directing nursing staff.
Coordinate effective use of personnel, supplies, equipment and facilities; obtain medications and medical records to provide safe, efficient and therapeutic care to residents.
Contact physicians as necessary and ensure physician interventions are timely and appropriate; ensure appropriate documentation of resident care.
Review staffing patterns and census of nursing units; reassign personnel when necessary to ensure residents needs and budgetary controls are met.
Investigate complaints and take necessary action to resolve problems.
Responsible during the shift for the total nursing care of residents in the assigned unit.
