Job summary

Qualifications

• RN license in good standing (state unspecified).
• Bachelor's or Associate degree in Nursing is required.
• ACLS and BCLS credentials must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Assist with admission and discharge to ensure efficient throughput and high quality, patient-centered care.
• Participate in ongoing assessment of quality of patient care services in collaboration with management.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts and managers to foster teamwork and better outcomes.
• Support a patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery when necessary.
• Operationalize nursing strategies to improve engagement (rounding, hourly rounds, etc.).
• Provide recommendations related to interviewing, selecting, and training new staff and conduct evaluations.
• Assist with staff scheduling and labor management according to patient care needs.
• Support inventory control and management of supplies and equipment.
