Job summary

BayCare Health System is hiring a full-time Ambulatory Surgery RN for the Trinity, FL area. The role requires circulating Ambulatory Surgery experience, with dayshift hours and in-person work at the BayCare Surg Ctr.

40 hours per week, on-site at the Trinity location. The position emphasizes independent nursing care, delegation within the team, and preceptor/charge nurse responsibilities, with certification requirements including BLS and RN licensure.

Position Details:

• Location: BayCare Surgery Center – Trinity – 2020 Trinity Oaks Blvd, Trinity, FL 34655
• Status: Full-Time
• Shift: Variable, Days
• On Call: No

The Ambulatory Surgery RN responsibilities include:

• RN independently cares for a sub-specialty group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards
• RN delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team
• RN is responsible for professional accountability and development according to best practice standards set forth by a nationally recognized specialty organization
• RN also performs the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned

For this position, we require at least 2 years of RN experience with 1 year RN experience in Surgery preferred.This is a Full Time position working 40 hours per week that will be focused on circulating Ambulatory Surgery. Surgery or Ambulatory Surgery experience is strongly preferred.

Certifications and Licensures:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• RN (Registered Nurse)
• ACLS (Cardiovascular) if required by department
• Preferred Nurse Specialty

Education:

• Associate's Nursing or Diploma Nursing
• Preferred Bachelor's Nursing

Experience:

• Required 1 year acute care experience or 1 year interventional / procedural experience or 6 months RN acute care or interventional / procedural experience with prior LPN experience and completed competency assessment.
• Preferred Experience includes 1 year Interventional/Perioperative Internship.
