Job summary

BayCare Health System seeks a Procedural RN for part-time coverage at Bardmoor Surgery Center in Largo, FL. The role requires a minimum of two years of acute care or interventional/procedural experience, with CC/PACU exposure preferred. Must be RN-licensed with BLS; ACLS and PALS are a plus where required.

• Shift: Variable, Mondays-Fridays

Summary

The Procedural RN responsibilities include:

• RN is proficient in the care of a sub-specialty group of patients utilizing effective managerial skills
• RN acts as a professional role model for other members of the nursing team
• RN is responsible for professional accountability and development according to best practice standards set forth by a nationally recognized specialty organization
• RN acts as a mentor and resource expert, supports and shares organizational information to all team members.
• RN performs the role of preceptor and charge nurse.

This position requires a minimum of two years RN experience. We prefer at least 1 year of Critical Care or PACU experience as an RN. RN PACU experience is strongly preferred for consideration. This is a Part-Time position set for 48 hours per bi-weekly pay period.
