Job summary

BayCare is seeking a Procedural RN at Bardmoor Surgery Center in Largo, FL. This part‑time role supports a high‑quality perioperative program with a requirement of at least two years in acute care or interventional/procedural nursing.

BLS, ACLS and RN licensure are required; PALS may be needed depending on the unit. The position emphasizes mentorship, clinical excellence, and leadership duties as a preceptor and charge nurse, with in-person shifts and variable hours.

• Status: Part-Time
• Shift: Variable, Mondays-Fridays

Summary

The Procedural RN responsibilities include:

• RNis proficient in the care of a sub-specialty group of patients utilizing effective managerial skills
• RNacts as a professional role model for other members of the nursing team
• RNis responsible for professional accountability and development according to best practice standards set forth by a nationally recognized specialty organization
• RNacts as a mentor and resource expert, supports and shares organizational information to all team members.
• RNperforms the role of preceptor and charge nurse.

This position requires a minimum of two years RN experience. We prefer at least 1 year of Critical Care or PACU experience as an RN. RN PACU experience is strongly preferred for consideration. This is a Part-Time position set for 48 hours per bi-weekly pay period.
