Job summary

UCI Health is seeking a Nursing Assistant in the Enterprise Float Pool to support patient care across Orange and Irvine campuses. Primary duties include taking and recording vital signs, assisting with hygiene and elimination, and maintaining a clean and safe unit environment.

You should understand basic medical terminology, be able to work variable shifts including nights, weekends and holidays, and have current BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Understanding of basic medical terminology.
• Must be able to read, write and speak effectively in English.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), or enrolled in accredited nursing program with clinical completion.
• Demonstrates the ability to communicate effectively in a therapeutic way.
• Current BLS certification, issued by the American Heart Association.
