Responsibilities

• Engages in governance and quality initiatives to improve care and apply evidence-based practices.
• Uses nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care with patients and families.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, and collaborates with the care team to influence outcomes.
• Promotes a culture of safety and ethical patient care in line with standards.
• Maintains accurate, timely EHR documentation and may float to other units as needed.
• Delegates appropriately to Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, and unlicensed staff.
• Communicates effectively and pursues ongoing professional development and certifications.
