Hartford HealthCare is seeking a Clinical Nurse Educator to support nursing professional development across the Greater Manchester region. The role focuses on competency management, onboarding, and professional growth within a high reliability/LEAN framework.

The NPD practitioner collaborates with nursing leadership to bridge knowledge gaps, foster evidence-based practice, and advance clinical education for Hartford HealthCare colleagues and patients.

Qualifications

• BSN required for education and practice.
• Minimum 3 years of active clinical nursing experience.
• At least 1 year in acute care or ambulatory/ancillary specialty.
• Experience as a preceptor.
• Licensed Registered Nurse in CT prior to hire date.
• NPD or Clinical Specialty Certification within two years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate learning using adult education principles.
• Collaborate with nursing leadership to assess learning needs and develop programs.
• Promote professional nursing practice and competency alignment.
• Mentor colleagues and support ongoing professional learning.
• Capture and evaluate knowledge and performance during practice.
