Job summary

Appalachian Regional Healthcare (ARH) is seeking a Clinical Nurse Educator to lead nursing education initiatives at our Lexington, KY facility. The CNE will serve as educator, facilitator, consultant, change agent, and leader, traveling to other ARH facilities as needed to promote standardized education and professional development.

The role emphasizes development and evaluation of educational programs, collaboration with nursing leadership, and advancement of clinical practice across ARH

Qualifications

BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC instructor designations required or pursued.
Current nursing license in KY or WV as applicable.
Professional certification pursued within 2 years of employment.

Responsibilities

Conducts educational needs assessments and uses adult learning principles to design and evaluate programs.
Coordinates nursing orientation and competency evaluation for new staff and equipment.
Develops and delivers evidence-based educational offerings and updates policies and protocols as needed.
Collaborates with nursing leadership to foster a robust educational environment and leadership development.
Oversees onboarding of student nurses and clinical faculty, ensuring ARH and regulatory compliance.
