Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a Clinical Nurse Educator in Kentucky to lead clinical education and orientation across units. The role emphasizes patient safety, evidence-based practice, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to develop policies and nursing procedures.

The CNE will mentor staff, facilitate accreditation needs, and provide ongoing competency verification, aligning with the organization’s standards and regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications

• Collaborates with department directors, nursing staff and others to identify educational needs.
• Demonstrates ability to teach programs using adult learning principles and professional presentation skills.
• Provides clinical consultation and participates in evidence-based practice.

Responsibilities

• Identify unit education needs and coordinate orientation programs.
• Coach preceptors and new employees and assess learning objectives.
• Facilitate accreditation/credentialing requirements and documentation.
• Participate in patient care delivery and clinical practice guidelines development.
• Serve as a resource for staff on policies, procedures and best practices.
