Job summary

Lexington Health, Inc. seeks a Clinical Educator to lead nursing education and staff development across its care network. The role requires expert clinical practice, instructional leadership, and collaboration with nursing leadership, direct care staff and physicians.

The educator will design and deliver structured education programs, oversee student rotations, and drive competency in Epic EHR ClinDoc and Stork while advancing organizational quality goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: Bachelors of Science in Nursing
• RN licensure by the South Carolina Board of Nursing; Instructor status in mandatory certification programs (CPR, ACLS, NRP, or PALS) - within six months
• Epic Credentialed Trainer certification (Inpatient ClinDoc and/or Stork) - within 6 months

Responsibilities

• Facilitates the direct care clinical nursing staff’s acquisition of knowledge and skills to provide cost-effective, quality patient care.
• Develops, coordinates, implements, evaluates and revises patient care and nursing orientation.
• Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates educational programs and activities to meet staff needs.
• Leads implementation of best practice processes regarding learner need identification, curriculum development and coaching.
• Provides oversight to nursing students, residents and health science students in clinical rotations.
