The CNE collaborates with nursing leadership, supports learners, and may travel to other ARH facilities to provide education under supervision of the AVP of Nursing Education and Professional

Qualifications

• BSN is required or plan to obtain within 2 years.
• MSN in Nursing or Education preferred.
• 1-3 years of nursing experience required; 3+ years preferred.
• Nursing education experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conducts educational needs assessments using a variety of methods/tools.
• Incorporates adult learning principles in planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Coordinates and facilitates nursing orientation and competency evaluation.
• Develops and delivers evidence-based educational programs.
• Evaluates effectiveness of educational programs using best practices.
• Collaborates with nursing leadership and other disciplines to foster learning and leadership development.
• Oversees onboarding of student nurses and clinical faculty.
• Responds to changes in nursing practice and develops education programs.
