Job summary

HCA HealthONE Mountain Ridge is seeking a Clinical Nurse Coordinator to lead patient-centered care on the unit during the shift. You will collaborate with the management team to monitor nursing care quality, model our mission, and support staff in delivering exceptional outcomes.

You will participate in admissions/discharges, staff development, and workforce planning, while upholding patient-first care standards and service recovery.

Qualifications

• RN licenses and certifications (BCLS/ACLS) required.
• RN license in Colorado or multi-state license required.
• Associate Degree or RN Diploma required.
• Minimum 6 months RN experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assists with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high quality patient-centered care.
• Participates in ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services in the unit.
• Collaborates with managers and subject matter experts to create an environment of teamwork and improved outcomes.
• Supports patient-first philosophy and service recovery when needed.
• Operates nursing strategies like hourly rounds and staff engagement to improve engagement.
• Provides recommendations on interviewing, selection, and training of staff; supports performance evaluations and policy adherence.
• Assists with staff scheduling and labor management in line with patient care needs.
• Supports inventory control and assists with supplies and equipment management.

Education

Basic Cardiac Life Support

Advanced Cardiac Life Support

RN Colorado DORA or Multi State

Associate Degree, or Registered Nurse Diploma
