Job summary

HCA HealthONE Mountain Ridge is seeking an experienced RN Clinical Nurse Coordinator for Surgical Telemetry on a full-time night shift. The CNC will ensure high-quality, patient-centered care, coordinate unit activities, and support nursing leadership in policy adherence and performance improvement.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS must be obtained within 30 days of start date.
• RN licensure is required to practice as listed.
• Education credentials include an ADN/BSN or equivalent certificate.
• Clinical coordination experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assists with admission and discharge processes to ensure throughput and quality care.
• Monitors and improves the quality of patient care in collaboration with management.
• Collaborates with SMEs and managers to foster teamwork and outcomes.
• Supports patient-first philosophy and service recovery when needed.
• Implements nursing strategies to improve engagement and patient experience.
• Recommends staffing actions including interviewing, training, evaluations and discipline.
• Assists with staff scheduling and labor management according to patient needs.
• Manages inventory control and supplies/equipment as needed.
