Job summary

St. David's North Austin Medical Center is seeking a Clinical Nurse Coordinator to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care and coordinate all unit functions. You will monitor nursing care in partnership with the management team and serve as a resource for staff to ensure an exceptional patient experience.

In collaboration with leadership, you will lead staff, support admission and discharge processes, coach and train teams, and work to improve outcomes and service across the unit.

Qualifications

• ACLS certification must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date.
• BCLS certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• RN licensure and active nursing license required.
• Associate Degree in Nursing or higher required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, evaluate, and deliver high quality, patient-centered care with a multidisciplinary team.
• Assist with admission and discharge processes.
• Partner with leadership to support improved outcomes and service.
• Provide coaching, feedback, and training to improve performance and engagement.
• Assist with staff scheduling and unit staffing decisions.
