The role emphasizes staff development, scheduling, and adherence to policies, with a focus on teamwork and patient experience in a busy hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or RN Diploma required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high quality care.
• Participates in ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services in the unit.
• Collaborates with managers to create teamwork and improved outcomes.
• Supports a patient-first philosophy and engages in service recovery when necessary.
• Implements nursing strategies, including employee rounding and hourly rounds.
• Provides recommendations on interviewing, selecting, training staff, and performance evaluations.
• Assists with staff scheduling and labor management for patient care needs.
• Supports inventory control and management of supplies and equipment.

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (Preferred)
