Responsibilities

• Assists with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high quality patient-centered care.
• Participates in ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services.
• Collaborates with managers to create an environment of teamwork that supports improved outcomes.
• Supports a patient-first philosophy and engages in service recovery when necessary.
• Supports nursing strategies such as hourly rounds and employee rounding to improve engagement.
• Recommends and implements training, development, conflict resolution, and performance evaluations for staff.
• Assists with staff scheduling and manages labor in line with patient care needs and productivity guidelines.
• Manages inventory control and assists with supplies and equipment.
