Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current NY State Registered Nurse licensure required.
• BSN degree preferred; enrollment in BSN program within two years and completion within five years.

Responsibilities

• Performs age-specific nursing care using assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Collaborates with physicians and health team members to coordinate procedures and treatments.
• Communicates patient health status and plan of care; documents observations and outcomes.
• Assesses, plans and directs patient care, including skin care, pain management, and discharge planning.
