Job summary

WhiteCap Search is seeking a Microbiology Technologist for a mission-driven hospital setting in New York. You will join a complex microbiology department spanning bacteriology, virology and mycology, with exposure to cytology/cytopathology.

The role involves collaboration with a team of about 10 technologists under supervision and a Monday–Friday 8am–4pm schedule. The ideal candidate holds an NYS Clinical Lab Technologist license (Micro focus), has at least one year of microbiology experience,

Qualifications

• Must hold NYS Clinical Lab Technologist license (Micro focus).
• At least 1 year of experience in microbiology.
• Broad technical expertise beyond bacteriology.

Responsibilities

• Work with a team of approximately 10 technologists under the guidance of a supervisor.
• Engage across bacteriology, virology, mycology and cytology/cytopathology exposure.
• Support infection control and patient outcomes in a mission-driven hospital setting.
