Qualifications

• 0–2 years experience as a clinical lab technologist.
• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or equivalent experience.
• License or current registration as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist or restricted permit from NYSED.

Responsibilities

• Perform various clinical analyses in Microbiology.
• Record findings and identify samples for traceability.
• Read and report cultures per protocols and communicate results to physicians.
• Operate and maintain automated or specialized equipment.
• Ensure quality control and adherence to SOPs.
• Provide training and technical consultation as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and document actions taken.
