Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform routine microbiological, serological and hematological procedures as assigned.
• Examine and approve work of technicians when requested and maintain quality control.
• Prepare and sign reports; ensure timely STAT reporting to nursing and units.
• Maintain safety and accuracy; notify supervisor of instrument malfunctions.
• Maintain adequate reagents and materials; complete logs and paperwork.
