Marathon Health is hiring an experienced Medical Assistant to join our care team. The MA will work closely with a primary care physician to deliver patient care and a superior guest experience, acting as both reception and clinical support.

This role supports vitals, injections, lab coordination and front-desk duties in a fast-paced primary care setting. Required: at least 1 year of MA experience, graduation from an MA program, CPR/BLS certification; MA cert/registration preferred in certain

Competenze

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program or related program.
• National or state-specific MA certification or registration is strongly preferred; required in some states.
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date.
• Phlebotomy experience is preferred.

Mansioni

• Escort patients to exam rooms and ensure rooms are clean and stocked.
• Review and update patient health information for the provider.
• Take vitals, collect specimens, give injections; support labs as needed.
• Prepare and administer medications and immunizations as directed by the provider.
• Collaborate with care team to develop patient plans of care; support referrals and follow-ups.
• Front desk duties: scheduling, records requests, referrals, check-in/check-out.
• Document data in medical records per guidelines.
• Process test results and communicate with patients per provider instructions.
• Participate in outreach to engage eligible patient groups.
• Maintain clinical and office supplies and equipment.
