Hope Family Medicine is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to support a small family medicine team. You will assist physicians, prepare patients, collect specimens, manage EHRs, and help coordinate referrals for efficient patient care.

Your responsibilities include vital signs, phlebotomy, medication knowledge, and patient communication to ensure a smooth workflow and excellent patient experience. CPR certification and 3+ years' experience are preferred.

Formación

• Medical Assistant Certification required.
• Phlebotomy skills required.
• Strong patient care focus essential.
• Proficient in medical terminology.
• Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
• Ability to monitor vital signs accurately.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Effective time management skills.
• Knowledge of referral processes and prior authorizations.
• Medication knowledge relevant to the clinical setting.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare patients for examinations and procedures.
• Monitor and record vital signs accurately.
• Collect specimens for lab analysis, including phlebotomy.
• Maintain and update medical records and electronic health records (EHR).
• Schedule and manage patient appointments effectively.
• Communicate with patients regarding care instructions and follow-ups.
• Provide clinical support including EKGs, injections, and medication knowledge.
• Manage inventory of medical supplies and equipment.
• Coordinate referrals and prior authorizations as required.
