Responsibilities

• Pre-visit planning by reviewing/updating patient records and determining needed services.
• Prepare patients for examination and escort to exam room; record vital signs, meds, allergies, history.
• Communicate with care team about hospital visits, labs, and follow-up tests; coordinate care as needed.
• Maintain exam rooms, clinical supplies, and dispose of bio-hazard waste per protocol.
• Participate in quality improvement and department activities.
