Job summary

St. Luke's University Health Network is seeking a Medical Assistant to support practice operations, pre-visit planning, vitals, and patient preparation.

The role requires high school diploma or MA program graduate, 1 year clinical experience, BLS/CPR, and strong teamwork.

You will collaborate with providers, manage patient information, and help maintain safety and efficiency in the clinic.

Qualifications

• One year of clinical experience or graduation from a Medical Assistant program.
• Customer service experience strongly preferred.
• BLS/CPR certification current or within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examination and escort to exam room, update vitals.
• Conduct pre-visit planning and pre-charting up to five days prior.
• Assist with injections and immunizations per state guidelines.
• Coordinate with care team and document tests, results, and discharge notes.
• Maintain clean exam rooms and inventory; dispose bio-hazardous waste.
• Attend department meetings and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Complete administrative tasks including check-in/check-out and onboarding.
