SEBMF-East Bay Medical Foundation is seeking a Medical Assistant to support providers and care teams in delivering high-quality patient care. The role requires MA program diploma, 160-hour externship, and BLS certification.

The candidate will perform vital signs, injections, EHR data entry, and patient education while coordinating with clinicians to implement the medical plan of care. 40-hour weeks, days shift, on-site in Castro Valley, CA.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required; MA program diploma within 90 days.
• Graduation from Medical Assistant program; externship 160 hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide back-office and patient-related support to providers and care teams.
• Assist in implementing the medical plan of care and patient education.
• Prepare patients for exams, take vital signs, and administer injections.
• Interact with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals professionally.
