Job summary

Sutter Health in California's East Bay area is hiring a Medical Assistant for SEBMF-East Bay Medical Foundation. You will provide clinical and clerical support to providers and care teams, helping deliver high-quality patient care and smooth patient flow within the department.

You will perform vital signs, prepare patients for exams, assist with EKGs, and use EHR and MS Office to document and coordinate care.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED completed.
• Completion of Medical Assistants program or Sutter Health medical assisting training (diploma required within 90 days).
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification.
• 3+ years cardiology experience including EKGs and Zio.

Responsibilities

• Support providers and care teams with back office tasks and patient care.
• Assist with patient flow and implement the medical plan of care.
• Take vital signs and prepare patients for exams.
• Maintain and interpret data and communicate clearly with diverse audiences.
