Palo Alto Medical Foundation is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide clinical and clerical support within the patient care team. Responsibilities include assisting with patient flow, preparing patients for exams, taking vital signs, and supporting the delivery of the medical plan of care.

Ideal candidates have 1 year of relevant experience, an MA program diploma (with diploma presented within 90 days), and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• 1 year of recent relevant experience.
• Graduate of an MA program; diploma presented within 90 days.
• BLS–Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider.

Responsabilités

• Provide clinical and clerical support to providers and care teams.
• Assist with patient care tasks and workflow in the department.
• Implement the medical plan of care with education and patient interaction.
• Maintain timely, accurate patient data and documentation.
