PAMF-Palo Alto Medical Foundation CAD is seeking a Medical Assistant to support clinicians and the patient care team. The role involves back-office tasks, patient preparation for exams, injections, and vital signs, with emphasis on accurate EHR documentation and professional communication.

The ideal candidate has an MA program credential, an externship experience, and BLS certification, with the ability to work full-time in a hospital setting. A positive team player is essential.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of a Medical Assistant program (diploma within 90 days).
• Completion of Medical Assistant externship (160 hours).
• BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider required.

Responsabilités

• Provide back office and patient-related support to providers and care teams.
• Assist with implementing the medical plan of care and coordinating workflows.
• Prepare patients for exams and administer injections; take vital signs.
• Maintain accurate documentation in EHR and communicate clearly with diverse audiences.
• Demonstrate time management and teamwork to meet deadlines.
