Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of an approved medical assistant training program.
• Active Medical Assistant certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• Certification for Meaningful Use preferred/required.
• Strong computer and office software skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist clinicians with exams and minor procedures and take vitals.
• Coordinate patient care including referrals, authorizations and scheduling.
• Communicate test results to patients and maintain medical records.
• Order supplies and manage medication-related tasks.
• Maintain clean exam rooms and follow safety protocols.
• Support onboarding and collaborate with multiple teams and external contacts.
