Job summary

TexomaCare is seeking a qualified Medical Assistant to support physicians in patient care across the family practice and specialty clinics. You will interview patients, measure vital signs, assist in examinations, and document findings in the EMR under physician direction.

The role requires Medical Assistant certification, BLS/CPR, and excellent communication. Proficiency in Spanish is a plus. This on-site position at TexomaCare in Denison, TX offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with patient check-in/check-out protocols.
• Ability to document in Electronic Medical Records per guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of patient care duties under physician supervision.
• Interview patients and measure vital signs (pulse, temperature, BP, weight, height).
• Conduct venipuncture and other procedures as directed.
• Prepare treatment rooms and assist in covering front desk as needed.
