Overview

Job Summary: The West Valley Healthcare Center in Phoenix is seeking an experienced Clinical Manager for our Children's behavioral health program. The Clinical Manager will oversee clinical services and supervise staff, including intake, assessment, and case management for clients and families.

Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical oversight and supervision to support clients' ongoing needs.
  • Supervise staff in utilizing resources for clients, including transition, discharge, and aftercare planning.
  • Develop and oversee programs to expand the continuum of behavioral health services in collaboration with the clinical team.
  • Identify community trends and gaps in services based on consumer needs.
  • Prepare reports such as Incident Reports, CPR referrals, QI/QM activities, performance audits, and meeting minutes.
  • Coordinate with third-party agencies like CPS, Probation and Parole, Division of Developmental Disabilities, schools, and others.
  • Participate in committees related to Substance Abuse, Utilization Management, Safety, and Risk Management.
  • Implement agency policies, identify service gaps, and work on special projects to meet client needs.
  • Facilitate CFT and MFT, discharge planning, and inter-agency coordination.
Qualifications
  • Master’s Degree in a human services field.
  • Licensed (LCSW, LPC, LMFT) by AZBBHE.
  • At least 3 years' experience in behavioral health post-Master’s.
  • Ability to maintain licensing and DPS fingerprint clearance.
  • Management experience preferred.
