Job summary

Galen College of Nursing in Houston, TX seeks a Clinical Learning Lab Technician to support and enhance clinical learning labs across programs in collaboration with program faculty to ensure quality and continuity in achieving CSLOs. Responsible for equipment prep, storage, and inventory to support student learning.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma required.
• Experience: Healthcare experience preferred.
• Special Qualifications: Effective written and oral communication skills; ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups; attention to detail and follow through.
• Physical/Mental Demands & Work Environment: Sedentary work with occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the clinical learning laboratory equipment for classes and open labs.
• Ensure equipment is stored, cleaned, and in good working order; notify coordinator if repairs are needed.
• Inventory laboratory supplies; stock supplies for students as needed.
• General copying and material distribution (case studies, forms, etc.).
• Perform other duties as assigned.
