Job summary

LOPA is seeking an Instructional Design & Technology Specialist to design, develop, implement, and evaluate learning solutions across operational, clinical, and organizational goals. You will partner with the Training & Education leadership, subject matter experts, and department leaders to identify learning needs and develop programs, including simulations and continuing education.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years progressive experience in instructional design, learning and development, healthcare education, or clinical simulation.
• Experience operating or supporting clinical simulation software, equipment, or related technologies.
• Demonstrated proficiency with ADDIE and/or SAM instructional design methodologies.
• Experience developing eLearning and multimedia content using Articulate Storyline, Rise, Captivate, or similar tools.
• Absorb LMS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, implements, and evaluates orientation, job-specific training, continuing education, and competency programs.
• Collaborates with department leaders to identify training priorities, competency requirements, and performance improvement opportunities.
• Creates instructional materials, including eLearning modules, facilitator guides, job aids, multimedia content, assessments, and performance support resources.
• Selects appropriate instructional methods, including ILT, virtual, eLearning, blended, and simulation-based learning.
• Facilitates training in individual, group, classroom, virtual, and simulation settings.
• Serves as LMS administrator for Absorb LMS, handling course administration, reporting, and system optimization.
