Job summary

St. Croix Hospice is seeking a Clinical Leadership Trainer to develop and maintain a comprehensive training program for clinical leaders across MO, NE, and KS.

The role involves travel to branch locations and partnering with senior leaders to ensure training needs are met. The position requires an RN license, an associate degree (baccalaureate preferred), and at least 3 years of hospice and leadership training experience.

Qualifications

• RN license in state(s) of practice required.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; Associate degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Hospice experience of at least 3 years.
• At least 3 years in clinical staff leadership including training and development.
• Ability to pass DHS background check; valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle if driving.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive training program for clinical leaders.
• Travel to branch locations to train clinical leaders.
• Partner with senior leadership to create and update training plans.
• Maintain understanding of clinical leadership roles and regulatory changes to ensure compliance.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure learners understand all functions.
• Conduct weekly check-ins with new clinical leaders to assess progress.
• Provide additional training as needed for performance improvement.
• Coordinate with regional leadership on performance improvement needs.
