Job summary

St. Croix Hospice is seeking a Clinical Leadership Trainer to design and maintain a comprehensive training program for clinical leaders across Iowa, Indiana, and Illinois.

The role involves traveling to branch locations and working directly with leaders to ensure all training needs are met. The ideal candidate will have an RN license, 3+ years of hospice and leadership experience, and a strong understanding of regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• RN license in state(s) of practice.
• Associate degree required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• At least three years hospice experience.
• At least three years of clinical staff leadership including training and development.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the senior leadership team to develop an effective training and development plan for clinical leaders.
• Maintain and update the clinical leadership training plan as necessary.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of clinical leadership roles and CHAP/Medicare requirements.
• Travel to branch locations to train clinical leaders and ensure compliance.
• Meet with new clinical leaders weekly to assess progress and provide training.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure training aligns with all functions.
• Provide additional training to address performance improvement needs.
