Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Medical Technology, Medical Science, or related field (preferred).
• Certifications such as MT(ASCP), MLS(ASCP), or equivalent required upon hire.
• Minimum of 1 year laboratory experience preferred.
• Skills in computer/data entry, communication, and familiarity with systems like Epic and 3M are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accuracy in patient testing, quality assurance, proficiency, and competency assessments.
• Ensure proper specimen identification and error management, documenting investigations and trends.
• Report laboratory data accurately within turnaround times, analyzing and interpreting data in relation to clinical findings.
• Monitor and document test statuses, communicate effectively with team members, and adhere to department procedures.
• Contribute to performance improvements, inspection readiness, and cost-efficient workflows.
• Maintain current knowledge of policies, procedures, and regulatory standards, participating in meetings and educational activities.
• Perform other assigned duties while complying with organizational policies and standards of conduct.
