You will follow established procedures, manage multiple workflows, handle specimens, and maintain instruments, ensuring accurate results and adherence to reporting protocols.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in laboratory science and MLT certification or eligibility.
• Must complete competency exams and demonstrate proficiency in laboratory procedures.
• Military experience in related medical specialties welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Perform and report various specimen analyses to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Follow established procedures to obtain accurate results and manage multiple workflows.
• Handle specimens properly, confirm identification, and use accessioning procedures.
• Instrument maintenance, troubleshooting, quality control, and replenishing supplies.
• Assist in training new staff and participate in ongoing educational activities.
