Job summary

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or related field, with MT(ASCP) or MLS(ASCP) certification upon hire and at least 1 year of lab experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, Medical Science, or related field.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Certifications such as MT(ASCP), MLS(ASCP) required upon hire.
• Minimum of 1 year laboratory experience preferred.
• Proficiency in data entry and common software (Excel, Word); Epic and 3M experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate patient and quality assurance testing, document investigations, and interpret lab data.
• Report lab results within turnaround times, analyze data in clinical context, and monitor test statuses.
• Contribute to performance improvements, assist in method development, and support inspection readiness.
• Maintain current knowledge of policies, procedures, and regulatory standards; participate in meetings and educational activities.
• Adhere to safety and compliance standards, and perform other assigned duties.
