Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency, LLC seeks an experienced Medical Laboratory Technician to perform supervised clinical testing, ensuring accurate patient results and equipment maintenance. You will contribute to lab improvements while upholding safety and regulatory standards.

The role may involve supervising and educating team members, data analysis, and ensuring timely reporting within established timeframes. A Bachelor’s degree and MT(ASCP) certification are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, Medical Science, or related field; Master’s preferred.
• Certification as MT(ASCP), MLS(ASCP), or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 1 year laboratory experience preferred.
• Proficiency in computer/data entry, Microsoft Office, with Epic and 3M experience advantageous.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and within teams.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards in testing accuracy, error documentation, and proficiency testing.
• Investigate and interpret laboratory data, reporting results within established timeframes.
• Monitor and document testing processes, ensuring proper specimen identification and error resolution.
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives, inspection readiness, and method development.
• Stay current with training, policies, and regulatory compliance, practicing safety standards.
• Support communication and teamwork, ensuring accurate hand-offs and resolution of issues.
• Contribute to cost-efficient practices and laboratory quality standards.
