Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency, LLC is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist/Technician to perform and report analyses from multiple specimen sources in a state-of-the-art laboratory. The role includes specimen management, instrument maintenance, QC, and adherence to reporting procedures.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in lab science with certification or lab experience, or an Associate degree with certification for technicians.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in biological, chemical, physical, or clinical lab science with certification or lab experience.
• Technician: associate degree with certification or eligibility as Medical Laboratory Technician.

Responsibilities

• Perform and report laboratory analyses from multiple specimen sources.
• Manage specimens: confirm ID, proper accessioning, handle discrepancies.
• Maintain instruments, troubleshoot, perform quality control, and replenish supplies.
• Follow reporting procedures and navigate multiple computer applications.
• Assist in training new employees and ongoing education.
• Ensure policy compliance and maintain high productivity.
