Job summary

MaineHealth NorDx is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician to perform and monitor laboratory testing on patient specimens, confirming and reporting results with accuracy and quality control. The role may require work at multiple sites and requires an Associate's degree and MLT certification within six months of hire.

Qualifications

• Certification by a recognized professional organization within six months of hire (e.g., ASCP, AMT).
• May be asked to work at other sites/locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform and monitor laboratory testing of patient specimens.
• Confirm, interpret, correlate, and report normal and abnormal results.
• Ensure accuracy, quality control and required instrument maintenance.
