The Portland Clinic is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician to support core clinical testing across hematology, chemistry, urinalysis, serology, molecular, PCR and microbiology. You will maintain instrumentation, follow QA/QC procedures, and report results accurately under the Laboratory Manager.

Primary responsibilities include specimen processing, proficiency testing, inventory management, and back-up phlebotomy as needed.

Formación

• Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technology required.
• Medical Technologist or ASCP equivalent preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Perform testing across Hematology, Chemistry, Urinalysis, Serology, Molecular, PCR and Microbiology.
• Maintain instrumentation and perform preventative maintenance.
• Document QA/QC and report results accurately.
• Enter test data, maintain logs, and compile statistics.
• Back-up phlebotomy and specimen processing as needed.
