Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in medical technology, CLS, biological or chemical sciences or related field.
• Active CLS license in the state of practice (where required).
• ASCP or equivalent national certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of laboratory testing procedures, quality assurance, and safety standards.
• Excellent analytical, communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and specialized laboratory testing on biological specimens using established laboratory procedures.
• Analyze, validate, document, and accurately report laboratory test results.
• Collect, process, label, handle, and prepare specimens while maintaining specimen integrity.
• Perform and document quality control procedures to ensure reliable and accurate test results.
• Operate, troubleshoot, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to communicate critical results and support quality patient care.
