Qualifications

• A minimum of an MTE license required if working in Microbiology department.
• Must work every other weekend.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of standardized tests appropriate to the discipline of the assigned laboratory section.
• Obtains specimens where necessary and prepares them for testing.
• Performs tests, calculates results, and reviews for accuracy.
• Maintains proper records and discusses methods and procedures.
• Investigates alternative procedures and evaluates new test methods and instrumentation.
