Job summary

UC Davis Health is seeking a licensed clinical laboratory professional to support analytical blood and body fluid analyses across multiple sections including Transfusion Services, Chemistry, Hematology, Immunology, Microbiology, POC, Toxicology and Molecular Pathology.

The role requires California licensure and strong knowledge of laboratory regulations; it is a 20% time, on-site per diem appointment with responsibilities spanning technical and general duties.

Qualifications

• California State License for Clinical Laboratory Science or equivalent as defined in Division 2, Chapter 3 of the California Business and Professional Code.
• Technical knowledge in one or more laboratory sections listed in the job posting, including transfusion services, chemistry, flow cytometry, hematology, immunology, microbiology, molecular pathology, and point-of-care testing.

Responsibilities

• 80% - Technical responsibilities in the laboratory across designated sections.
• 20% - General duties including documentation, quality assurance, and compliance with safety regulations.
