Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in MLS/CLS or related field.
• At least 1 year experience performing specimen collection or testing.
• Eligible for NAACLS MLS/CLS program or licensed as MLS/CLS.

Responsibilities

• Process and handle blood and other samples according to established procedures.
• Performs tests across hematology, microbiology, immunology, chemistry, urinalysis and immunohematology.
• Performs quality control on analytical systems and troubleshoots out-of-control results.
• Operates and maintains laboratory equipment per manuals and policies.
• Educates and trains new staff and students; supports competency assessments.
