Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in MLS/CLS or related field; NAACLS-accredited program eligible
• 1 year experience performing specimen collection or testing required
• Proficiency with safety procedures and OSHA guidelines

Responsibilities

• Process and handle blood and other specimens per established procedures.
• Perform a variety of clinical laboratory tests across hematology, microbiology, immunology, chemistry, urinalysis, and immunohematology.
• Perform quality control on analytical systems and troubleshoot out-of-control results.
• Maintain/operate laboratory equipment per manufacturers' recommendations and lab procedures.
• Provide education and training to new team members and students as needed.
