Southern California Hospitals is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Scientist to perform standardized and highly specialized analyses across Chemistry, Immunology, Hematology, Coagulation, Urinalysis, Microbiology and Blood Bank. The CLS ensures accurate, reliable and timely test results used for patient diagnosis and treatment.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the hospital.
• Must be willing to work variable shifts and overtime as required.
• Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job.
• Ability to identify and distinguish colors.

Responsabilités

• Perform laboratory testing across Chemistry, Immunology, Hematology, Coagulation, Urinalysis, Microbiology and Blood Bank.
• Ensure accuracy, reliability and timeliness of test results.
• Adhere to quality control policies and document calibrations and maintenance.
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA and infection control procedures.
• Communicate results and collaborate with care teams.
