Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• California CLS license or California Specialty (Limited) License required.
• 1 year prior CLS experience with specialized and complex analyses, quality control, calibration and inventory control.
• Point of Care experience preferred.
• Strong organization and time-management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to work with physicians and staff across settings.
• Knowledge of GMP and basic computer skills (MS Office).

Responsibilities

• Perform biochemical, hematological, microbiological and/or blood bank analyses with high accuracy.
• Recognize normal, abnormal and critical results and act per policy.
• Communicate results to clinicians and ensure timely reporting.
• Maintain quality control, calibration and instrument maintenance.
• Train personnel and assist with inventory management.
• Adhere to safety and infection control guidelines.
